Minnesota’s Career and Technical Student Organizations are READY for the 2022 School Year!

Fall is here and Minnesota’s Career and Technical Student Organizations are ready! All of the CTSOs are preparing to start the school year with their annual Leadership Conferences, many will be electing a new slate of state officers this fall for the school year.image

Throughout the past year our student organizations have provided outstanding support to their student members during the COVID19 pandemic. To kick off the current school year FFA and HOSA, in cooperation with MN Dept of Health, hosted the webinar event "Youth Town hall: Let's Get Back Safely". The webinar supported students’ capacity for making decisions for themselves and their organizations to return to school safely and reduce the risk(s) of COVID19.

As we continue to battle COVID, you can find out more about how you can stay safe and engage in Best Practices at the MN Department of Health.

Get Involved!

If you are interested in playing a more active role in supporting Minnesota’s career and technical student organizations, the MFSO has Board Seats available representing both industry and education. To learn more, visit the MN Secretary of State website.

Supporting Underserved Populations and Distance Learning Opportunities

Over the past year, we have all been challenged to look at learning differently and find new ways to deliver CTE curriculum to our students. We must work to overcome the barriers to students in underserved populationsin this new environment. The MFSO is committed to supporting Minnesota’s CTSOs in their focus on reaching students through effective presentations or lessons online, while incorporating CTSO programming and increasing participation and opportunities within CTSOs for underserved and special populations.

2021 Biennium Report

The MFSO is required by law (M.S. 124D.34, Subd. 10) to file a Biennium Report every two years. The most recent was filed February, 2021. The Biennium Report highlights the activities of the MFSO and the Student Organizations it serves over the past two years.
